June Wrap Up.

So here goes, June’s just got a couple more days to go, before July kicks in. Which just means the pay’s coming in too! wohoo!

Things haven’t been too good for me this past week, work’s been pretty slack, and well other not so nice things have taken control over my life as well. Stuff that happened towards the end of the week, that I totally can’t figure out and understand.

Anywhoo, that aside I was down town yesterday with Jas dearest, we went for dinner at the Hip diners and then we headed for a long conversation after. We’ve not seen each other in ages mind you! there was just so much to catch up on.

I’m just really counting down the days now till bra and shir and baby kay and bea all come down. Still a couple more months to go though, but It’ll all past fast nonetheless. School starts on the 4th of August btw, which just means I’d be going to school while they’re here! and I heard too school work’d gonna get a lot harder, in second year. Which all means I have to start preparing myself.

My weekend last, on Saturday, wa sjust really good, it was a eventful whole Saturday as i had stuff to do since the crack of dawn. It started with the new face audition where they picked the top 25, which will later be narrowed down to 20 and there after the Queen’s Couture show which both Nargis and myself were involved in. *bleagh. It was clubbing later on with Daph and her mates, at MOS. One of the most hilarious clubbing escapades we’ve had ever. All cause I was hungry halfway and we only started clubbing at 2! haha but it was all good in the end. I’ll post pictures up soon. pwomise!

I don’t know if I really want to club today, I feel the time of month is coming again and I don’t feel that in the mood for a party. But i do have stuff lined up for me, so I’d prob be looking forward to that.

1 week down, heaps more to conquer.

It’s been an eventful past week for me, whther at work or home, or friends or be it anything else. I got picked to do the Queen’s Couture Fashion Show on Saturday at St James, this would be my third time there, considering the fact that I have the membership and have not visited that hang out for ages now. Been spending a lot more time with my boy the past few days, whether it was food, food and more food or just plain nonsense drive time together, it was still worth the while.

That aside, I have to admit that I’ve lost touch with music now, for quite some time. It’s either cause I’ve stopped tuning in to the radio or just plain occupied with work. Though I didn;t have much to do over the last few days. Hopefully, my work loads gets a little more heavier through the whole of next week and til;l the end of the month righ tup till I end my internships, end of July.

Haven’t got any party plans as of tomorrow, but I’m hoping there’ll be some though, considering the amount of make up I’d have on for the fashion show.

The final leg of the New Face auditions are tomorrow and I just can’t wait, really I;d love to know who got in where and who got rejected and everything else, but I’m really dreading the waking up an travelling to be honest with you. Plus after, I’ve got to rush down to the fashion show thingo! ugh! pretty tight first half od the day I have tomorrow, I must say.

Anywhoo, I brought Mum & Paps out for dinner that night (my treat) to Gourmet Plus, a restaurant along Frankel Ave, with awesome western delights. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Guess that’s about it! I can’t wait to go shopping, really I can’t, though I know I shouldn’t even be spending.

Not Taking it Slow.

Sorry for the long awaited updates, just been really busy, with work and all. Anywhoo, it was an office farewell party yesterday at Zouk, where, let me tell you i got sloshed, I’ve never felt that bad before, really. It was the first time ever that i puked, not once, twice but 4 times!! I don’t get it really. I probably drank too much or something but I usually knwo my limits so I don’t see why there should be a problem, maybe this time it was lethargy coupled with intoxication, so it was a lot more worse.

That aside, work for me the past 2 weeks have been fairly manageable, there hasn’t been a lot asigned to me so far, so it’s been pretty alright. Also, I’ll start corporate work next week on some of our company partnerships with other countries.

On a lighter note, I partied hard last week, with Daph and her mates and also brought my brand new camera out with me to snap come lovely moments. I’ve got pictures here, the quality of the pictures are a far cry from my previous camera, honestly. I stand by the fact that Sony cameras produce awesome pictures with vibrant colour.

It’s only Just Begun.

Wohoo! The weekend’s finally here and it’s definitely gonna be party time tomorrow, especially after a hectic week at work. I don’t know why I’ve just been so tired lately, with a total lack of energy! I need some red bull in my system, or well actually some red bull coupled with alcohol! that’s the ideal.

That aside, I bought my much awaited and longed for camera last week, alone after printing stuff for my modelling portfolio, which I rushed and later found out it wasn’t really needed cause there wasn’t a casting after all! hmph!

The perfection of the Sony T70, is really beyond description. It takes awesome snaps with very vivid colours, really it does. I haven’t brought it alogn with me recently, just waiting for the apt time to lug it around. Not like it’s really heavy anyway, it’s featherweight, literally!

Was on Urban on Thursday, where they made a mistake on my parentage! she probably assumed I was half Chinese. hehe but it’s all cool. It was dinner on Tuesday for meats at the all new Pan Pacific Orchard, the former Hotel Negara. It was Brazilian Churascaria. Lovely, lovely food, especially with an empty stomach.

That’s about it folks. I’m absolutely looking forward to the weekend this time!

A Model Life.

So the modelling scene for me since a coupleof months ago has been pretty mellowed down, till I started my internships at the new place. I find it really funny how I don’t get castings and stuff when I’m available but they come about when I’m absolutely occupied be it in the day or sometikmes even at night. Castings usually take place during lunch time, or some where in between work fer sure.

It’s been really hectic for me to be rushing castings fom work with worn-out make up, and then not making the cut. Well, simply because I wasn’t on my best. Does this then mean that from now till the time I end my Internships I’d have to be luggin my make up box around with me? If you ask me, i honestly can’t be bothered with make up it’s really the least of my worry. What a lousy oman I am you might say. I find it funny how most of my friends or people around me can really be bothered to touch up their make up time and time again when it wears out, etc. If you ask me, I ave absolutely no time to be stressing over stuff like that. I’ve realised however, that that’s defnitely not the way to go.

Anywhoo, that aside, I’m thoroughly occupied with castings for the rest of the week and photo shoots. FYI, I’m on this month’s NEWMAN for the La Formula Una thingy and also on next week’s urban. Do check these out.

I’m off to bug some idiots who aren’t very prompt with their payments. This has been what? a good almost three months? not mentioning names here, but GIVE ME MY MONEY wherever you are. LOL. ok that aside, I’m off to bedders. Lates you guys.

P.S. I absolutely can’t wait to see what Shir shir has sent from melb, that’s arriving over the weekend. more goodies! Hmm impatient I am.

COME TO ME NOW WON’T YOU? THE END OF THE MONTH IS TAKING FAR TOO LONG.

20.

Turning 20 this year was indeed a great deal for me, especially so because I had my closes friends by my side to celebrate my joy with me. Also, my biggest birthday surprise was when my dear boy passed his driving and took me for a drive on my birthday eve.

I love presents, and I received heaps of them this year, presents whether in the physical form or real things, everything special to me on my birthday was just an awesome gift. That aside, I think I’m going to be getting a present for myself. Possibly a new camera, the cybershot T70, something I’ve longed for, for God knows how many years.

I’ve got a photo shoot with URBAN on Tuesday, so I took a day off, not like I’d get paid anything, but well what budget do newspapers have anyway right?

Just remembered how my driving test is just days away and I don’t feel ready at all! Promise! I’m pretty scared especially when the pressure’s on me now since babes already passed his! I don’t wanna have to re do it. But if I do, I guess it all happens for a reason then. oh well. I honestly don’t have faith in me at all at this point.

Work’s been pretty much the same, doing the same stuff, oh but yea we sidelined a bit today as we’re starting on a new project, pitching for Nokia to be one of our golf tournaments’ main sponsor. So it’d probably be something like NOKIA OAAG Golf Tour or some shit like that. Ah! research’s is dues on Monday! don’t even want to get down to thinking about it I swear.
